Site features

Above the banner for the website are three tabs. The first says “Home” that is the blog itself (most likly the page you are reading right now). Next is “Current Reading” that tab will take you to a page that list what books I am currently reading. And last is the tab that reads “Star Wars Collection” which is a page that list my Star Wars collection, that page is more for me that it is for you but feel free to look at it if you are so inclined.

Below the tabs is the banner which as described my previous post (Claire and the moon) I will change from time to time and I will a make post describing what the new image is whenever it changes.

Under the banner are two links that will allow you to subscribe to the RSS feed for this blog. After them is a search bar that will allow you to search my blog for keywords.

The tope of the leftmost column contain a breif message from me followed by two archives of the blog. These archives contain all the blog’s posts. The first is organized by subject and the second is organized by date.

Obviously the main aspect of this site is the blog. New blogs are placed on top of old ones so as you scroll down you are seeing older posts. At the bottom of the page there will be a link that will take you to further posts. At the very end of each blog posting is a line that reads “Now playing:” that is simply the song I was listening to when I finished that current post. If you click on the title of a blog you can view the comments left by other under the blog posting itself or add your own comments to the blog. If you click on any image in the blog you will be taken to that image’s page where you can comment on that picture specifically. If you click on the image again you will see the image at full resolution. New blogs are placed on top of old ones so as you scroll down you are seeing older posts. At the bottom of the page there will be a link that will take you to further posts.

Along the right of the blog are three more features. First is a area for important information, the only lik there so far is to this post. “Tags” is next, tags are keywords that appear in an article, for instance the tag for this article is going to be features. The larger the tag is the more times that particular tag has been used. This is just one more way to track down previous postings. Under the tags is the “Blogroll” this is simply a list of links that I find interesting.

If you have any questions about any of the features feel free to ask it in the comments section of this posting.

Thanks for stopping by.
